As an RSS Statistical Ambassador, Liam has worked with media organisations to analyse and make sense of data, including BBC’s Panorama, The Guardian, and most excitingly - BBC Bitesize to find statistical patterns in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023 and 2024.

Our expertise has provided commentary and guidance on breaking developments in ecology and evolution of infectious disease through the Science Media Centre that have been quoted in press, including stories on Hantavirus cases aboard the MV Hondius, COVID-19, and biodiversity loss in relation to pandemic risks .
