As an RSS Statistical Ambassador, Liam has worked with media organisations to analyse and make sense of data, including BBC’s Panorama, The Guardian, and most excitingly - BBC Bitesize to find statistical patterns in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023 and 2024.

Our expertise has provided commentary and guidance on new research in ecology and evolution of infectious disease through the Science Media Centre, including stories on pandemic risks from biodiversity loss and COVID-19.
