I started my PhD in February 2026 at the University of West London, collaborating with the University of Glasgow and UKHSA. My research focuses on applying Machine Learning to predict Influenza A reassortment events and host spillover risks. I am interested in how ML models can be used on biological data to study viral epidemiology, and how it can be used to prepare for zoonotic epidemics and pandemics.
Outside the lab, I enjoiy bouldering, hiking, and trying out new things.
